Hi and thank you for visiting my website!  I specialize in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, sleep problems, relationship difficulties and stress.  I use a combination of talk therapy and mind-body strategies such as yoga and meditation to help clients.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach draws on a newer therapy, called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  ACT is a mindfulness-based behavioral therapy with empirical support for a range of conditions.  We will use mindfulness, self-compassion, and acceptance to help you live your best life.

About Me

I am a native Texan and moved to Nashville about 10 years ago for clinical training. I fell in love with the city and have made it my home!  I worked as a staff psychologist at the Nashville VA Medical Center for 8 years before transitioning to private practice in 2016.  In my free time I love hanging out with dogs, reading, doing yoga, and spending time with friends.
